Future Auto Repair has been serving Bossier Parish for over 70 years — and our story is one of grit, growth, and generations of family-driven service.

It all began in 1955, when Bill Scotto opened a Gulf gas station on the north end of Benton Road — the last stop before the road opened into country. With just two mechanic bays, it was the picture of a classic 1950s full-service station: uniformed attendants, polished oil cans, and a personal touch you could count on. As the shop gained popularity through the ’50s and ’60s, it expanded to four bays, and in 1975, Bill added three more, cementing the business as a trusted name in town.

In 1980, Bill passed the torch to his son, Dennis Scotto, who renamed the shop Benton Road Auto Repair. Under Dennis’s leadership, the business grew into a community staple — known for reliable service, hometown honesty, and a dedication to getting the job done right. By 1995, demand had outgrown the original footprint, prompting Dennis to purchase land for a second building to serve more customers.

In 2008, Dennis’s son — and Bill’s grandson — James Scotto stepped in to carry the family legacy forward. With a vision for the future, James focused on streamlining operations, elevating customer experience, and investing deeply in his team. He understood that trust isn’t just earned under the hood — it’s built in the way you treat people.

Then, in 2023, tragedy struck when the original shop burned down in a devastating electrical fire. But like any great story, this one wasn’t over. It was a turning point.

Out of the ashes came reinvention. In 2025, we’re proud to unveil our new state-of-the-art facility and our new name: Future Auto Repair — a name that honors where we’ve been while charging forward to where we’re going.

That means investing in cutting-edge training for our technicians, creating meaningful careers for our team, and giving every customer an experience that makes them say “wow.” We believe in radical transparency, expert service, and a level of hospitality that feels more like a neighbor than a repair shop.

We’re also deeply committed to giving back to the community that’s supported us for three generations. Whether it’s supporting local schools, sponsoring youth programs, or lending a hand to families in need, Bossier Parish isn’t just where we work — it’s who we serve.
